GORIZIA PUTS THE WORLD AT TABLE
The 16th edition of "Gusti di Frontiera" continues, scheduled until Sunday. After the official opening, the record-breaking edition (413 stands with 59 nations, the largest number ever) continues on Friday 27th September, hosting one of the most eagerly awaited guests at the "Salotto del Gusto", the internationally renowned pastry chef Damiano Carrara, current judge of the "Bake off Italia" talent show (meeting at 18 o'clock, followed by a pastry workshop). Also on Friday 27th - we read in a press release of the Municipality - a special pastry workshop dedicated to Baby chefs focused on a special recipe of Plumcake, dedicated to Gusti di Frontiera: children will make with their own hands a tasty plumcake, helped by the pastry chefs of L'Oca Golosa of Gorizia. There will be space at 8 pm for the presentation of the Ettore Romoli Award and at the end two show-cooking sessions: one by chef Uroš Fakuč and a tasting of Gubana with wines from the Consorzio Collio and one by the FVGrillers who will offer tastings accompanied by a barbecue sauce created for the occasion with the support of ANAG. Many other show-cooking and meetings, with important producers and chefs of the area, on Saturday and Sunday, with a special tribute to a cult dish like Frico. The starred chef Emanuele Scarello, among others, is expected.
